With multiple ways to connect and sync with other badges, everyone was able to play along and get the most from their DEFCON Badge experience. This year’s badge was the first from creators MK Factor, who did an amazing job of bridging the gap between the in-person and virtual attendees.
These badges allow a wearer admission to the con and, in recent years, can eclipse talks and villages with unique and challenging puzzles. Attendees are identified by badges, varying in types like Human, Goon, Creator, Speaker, Artist, Vendor, and Press.
