The badge consisted of stacked boards hosting four RGB keys, three touch sensors, male/female connectors on the sides, USB-A and USB-C ports on the bottom, and a special lanyard cable with USB-A and USB-C plugs on the ends. With multiple ways to connect and sync with other badges, everyone was able to play along and get the most from their DEFCON Badge experience. This year’s badge was the first from creators MK Factor, who did an amazing job of bridging the gap between the in-person and virtual attendees.
